The Balance of Light and Dark; a Froud Sculpting Workshop.

WORKSHOP IS FULL

The time of the vernal equinox is a time to reflect on the balance between dark and light--leaving the darkness of winter and stepping into the lightness of spring.  It is a time of hope, new beginnings, and growth.

The workshop will begin with a meditation--acknowledging those beings that accompanied us through the dark winter months and meeting the new, young beings that will accompany us into spring and the time of greater lightness.  The meditation will give you at least two very different characters to use as a basis for a sculpted portrait-head and shoulders-of either the being of the winter months or the being of spring and new beginnings.

In this two-day workshop, Toby Froud and Wendy Froud (Realm of Froud) will teach the sculpting, painting, finishing, and aging techniques needed to complete a sculpted portrait bust.
